URE LAS PALMAS REPORTS:


Continuing with the acts of the 30th anniversary we have been doing this year, we are pleased to invite you to the lecture-colloquium will be held next Saturday October 31 at 18 am in URE Las Palmas by Pablo Cruz EA8HZ which speak to us of "Low Cost Satellite".

Paul has extensive experience of working with satellites and has given courses and lectures on this interesting subject, as well as several articles on this subject in the journal Amateur Radio CubeSat and we talk more specifically about FUNcube.

This time we will be able to enjoy live experience and explanations and will be happy to open a new door on this knowledge to attendees

The Teide DX Group will activate the beacon of Puerto de la Cruz (Tenerife) on 25 to 27 September 2015. The lighthouse is located on the north coast of the island of Tenerife (Canary Islands) and its caracteristics are:

The lighthouse entered service in 1996. It is at an altitude of 31 m (asl) and the tower is 27 m high.

Operators will EA8AM, EA8ARG, EA8BFH, EA8BRW and EA8IH. They will be active with several stations in the HF, VHF and UHF SSB and digital modes. It is not necessary to send QSL. Confirmation of contacts made by eQSL and LoTW. Those wishing to receive a physical QSL must send a return envelope with sufficient postage ($ 2.00 ea new IRC). As usual, those who make contact in at least five bands and / or modes will receive a commemorative diploma. It is sent free by email as printable image. Those who wish to receive printed must send $ 6.00 or 5.00 euros to cover the costs of printing and mailing. DIPLOMA MUST APPLY TO QSL MANAGER.
